About the Role
Is your dream job to constantly be surrounded by dogs?? Do you have experience working with dogs??? If you answered yes to both of those questions, then our Woof Warden position is for you! Woof Wardens maintain the grounds, as well as monitor dog play in the park to help ensure a safe, fun environment for both people and pups.
▷ Displays a strong knowledge of Fetch Park Rules.
▷ Previous dog handling experience preferred.
▷ Maintains a safe environment for all pups and patrons by immediately observing, hearing, and reacting to escalating play or inappropriate behavior. Must be able to do the following physical duties:
▷ Must be able to run
▷ Lift at least 50 pounds
▷ Stand on the turf for extended periods of time in all types of weather
▷ Physically break up dog skirmishes
▷ Demonstrates skills and experience in dog behavior and redirection methods.
▷ Assists in maintaining exceptional sanitation practices as outlined in our policies and procedures.
▷ Performs all opening/mid-shift and closing duties per job-specific checklists found in the training manual.
▷ Has the ability to effectively communicate dog behavior, both appropriate and inappropriate to management staff and members.
▷ Must have availability to work mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays.
