About the Role
looking for a creative and reliable individual to join The Charcuterie Chick® team as our On-Site Manager. This is a contract-based role.
The ATL Charcuterie Chick serves the Atlanta community with charcuterie and cheeseboards. We also offer food/brand styling, elaborate grazing table services, ‘build a board’ classes, and workshop services nationwide.
This is a unique specialty food business that is locally owned. We are located in Sandy Springs, off Roswell Rd.
We are looking for a manager (for approximately 20-25 hours per week) with an interest in charcuterie, joining a 100% locally owned business, creating signature boards & platters for all types of clients, and looking to grow with the business.
At a high level, this manager will be responsible for helping us manage day-to-day orders, kitchen preparation, daily cleanliness standards, inventory management, building charcuterie boards, and customer interactions.
Job Responsibilities:
▷ Lead board making for daily and weekly orders
▷ Familiarity with systems like Google Suite and Square Point of Sale (POS) for internal operations and customer transactions
▷ Ability to interact daily and regular with customers that are face-to-face and over phone
▷ Manage and facilitate corporate orders or large volume orders
▷ Deep knowledge of hygiene and safety standards regarding food preparation and storage
▷ Lead the creation of our signature charcuterie platters and various menu offerings
▷ Manage various kitchen duties, including washing, and drying all kitchen items, cleaning kitchen prep space, keeping food storage area clean, etc.
▷ Oversee inventory management and food handling, including food levels and restocking items/ingredients
▷ Oversee the onboarding and training of new team members, as needed
Job Requirements:
◦ Must be local to the Atlanta area and willing to commute to/work in Sandy Springs
◦ Must have proper car insurance and valid driver’s license
◦ Must be a U.S. Citizen
◦ Must be able to lift 25+ lbs. at times and stand for long durations [kitchen stool provided, when needed]
