About the Company
Through the state's rich history of sawmill towns, those original mill workers were covered in sawdust and drank coffee accompanied by the sound of the raging rapids and grinding water wheels of nearby rivers. Given that Maine is the farthest state east in the US, many of those mill workers were the first in the country to both see the sunset and the first to see the sunrise, all in the same night shift.
Catface Cafe keeps that Biddeford mill heritage in mind when we serve exquisite coffee, thoughtful breakfasts and considered lunches. We want to give people the option of both sitting down and really enjoying their breakfast or lunch with consideration, or simply grabbing something to throw into their lunch pail on their way back to work. We’re also excited to offer additional Saturday & Sunday brunch items as well as craft beverages like locally brewed beer, wines by the glass, boozy cocktails like our house espresso martini as well fun brunch drinks like seasonal mimosas and Bloody Mary's.
